There is always plenty to do in Spring Grove.
Do you have acting in your blood? Or maybe you'd like to sit under the stars and watch a musical. How does a little
music in the park sound? How about some meatballs or lefse during Syttende Mai? Whatever you like, Spring Grove
has it.
The Ye Olde Opera
House has a proud tradition of entertaining the surrounding
area with musicals, plays and events every year. Not interested
in being in a musical.then sit back under the stars and enjoy
the YOOH summer musical at Ye Olde Gray Barn. We'll save
you a seat.
Remember when you could go to the old town square and listen to bands play music for all to hear? In Spring Grove
we proudly call it "Music in the Park". Bring a lawn chair, enjoy an ice cream float and watch children young and
old dance. Summer fun!
Syttende Mai is an annual city festival that remembers the proud traditions of the past with a parade, community
events, traditional foods, dancing and more. Come shop the city-wide garage sales and find many a bargain. Who
will become the "Honorary Norwegian?" Don't forget the meatballs, brats and pork-on-a-stick!
