Spring Grove Economic Development
The Spring Grove Economic Development Authority was formed with the purpose of promoting economic development, managing the Industrial Park and improving the housing market in Spring Grove.

The Economic Development Authority (EDA) members include elected City officials, local citizens and business representatives who work together to create and maintain a pro-business environment, a high quaility of personal life style and a strong sense of community. The EDA considers ways to attract and retain businesses in Spring Grove, assist businesses with expansion, and enable the quality commercial and industrial development and/or rehabilitation of areas within the community.

The Spring Grove Economic Development Authority is a Political Subdivision of The State of Minnesota and the City of Spring Grove. A seven member board oversees the operations with funding provided by the City of Spring Grove and donations by the Spring Grove Economic Development Authority.

The Spring Grove EDA meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at City Hall. Meetings start at 7:00 P.M. and last until all current business is completed. In order to accomplish our mission we offer gap financing for businesses, work closely with the City Council when TIF or Tax Abatement is needed, do outreach to attract business to Spring Grove and do development projects as necessary.

The EDA currently has a Commercial Park and maintains a horse trail. You can contact the EDA by calling City Hall, 507-498-5221.
