The Spring Grove Police Department provides law enforcement services to the community. We serve a population of 1330 residents and have a coverage area of approximetly 1.5 square miles. The police department receives emergency calls through the dispatch center at the Houston County Sheriff's Office, located in Caledonia, MN.
The police department is involved in and sponsors many events such as, National Night Out, DARE, and are involved in many non law enforcement activities in the community.
The Police Department also features the "Spring Grove Police Department Reserve Unit." Which is a volunteer organization of civilians that assist with functions of the police department. POLICE RESERVE UNIT
The Spring Grove Police Department Reserve Unit meets at the Spring Grove Police Department on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 7:30 PM. The meetings are held at the Spring Grove City Hall.
The Spring Grove Police Reserve Unit assists the officers of the Police Department with various functions while on duty.
Members of the Police Reserve Unit receive training in many areas, such as traffic control, CPR, First Aid and self-defense.
